On the last day\, 7th October\, the Temple will open at 4.30 AM and close at midnight 12 PM. SUMMARY:Prapancha Yaagam
DESCRIPTION:Prapancha Yaagam\nFrom March 31st to April 6th\, in the year 2023\, a seven-day long ‘Prapancha Yaagam’ will be performed at the Pournamikavu temple. ‘1008 Maha Mandaleshwar Sri Sri Kailasapuri Swami’\, an Aghori monk from the Himalayas\, is the main Yaga Acharya. Chief priests of Nepal Pashupatinath Temple\, Madurai Meenakshi Temple and Thiruvidaimaruthur Mahalinga Swamy Temple will lead the yaga. During this yaga\, a 5 feet tall single-stone idol of Goddess Saraswathi will be consecrated (Prathishta). Apart from this\, the consecration ceremony of the Panjabhootha (5 Shiva Lingams) lingams will also be held (out of  this\, the Agni lingam was energized by the poojas done during the 10-day long ‘Maha Kalika Yaga’ held at the temple last year). The finest Salagrams brought from the Gandaki River in Nepal will be used for this Shivalinga Pratishta.
